At Anne Grady Services, our mission extends far beyond providing quality care and support. We believe the people we serve deserve the opportunity to live full and meaningful lives. Lives filled with friendship, purpose, choice, connection, celebration and experiences that bring joy.
Events like Homecoming are an important part of making that possible.
For individuals with developmental disabilities, opportunities to gather with others and participate in community life can have a profound impact. A celebration can become a treasured memory. A conversation can grow into a friendship. Seeing a familiar face can provide a sense of connection and belonging. And a day spent laughing and celebrating together can be a reminder that everyone deserves to feel included and valued.
These experiences may seem like small moments, but they are anything but small to the people who experience them.
Homecoming also reflects something we see every day at Anne Grady: a meaningful life is created through relationships. It takes staff who know and care about the people they support, families who remain connected, friends who show up, and community partners who believe that individuals with developmental disabilities should have every opportunity to participate fully in the world around them.
We are grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s Homecoming possible and to everyone who came together to celebrate.
