This year, Anne Grady Services proudly celebrates a remarkable milestone: 10 years of Adult Day Services.
For the past decade, our Adult Day Services program has been a place where individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities can build meaningful relationships, explore new interests, develop skills, and actively engage with their community. What began as a vision to provide enriching daytime opportunities has grown into a vibrant program that continues to empower individuals to live fulfilling, connected lives.
At Anne Grady Services, we believe every person deserves opportunities to learn, contribute, and belong. Adult Day Services embodies that belief every day. Participants enjoy a variety of activities designed to promote personal growth, independence, creativity, and community involvement. From volunteer projects and recreational outings to educational experiences and social events, each day offers new opportunities to learn and connect.
Over the past 10 years, the program has evolved to meet the changing needs and interests of the individuals we support. Along the way, we have celebrated countless achievements, big and small. We’ve watched friendships flourish, confidence grow, and individuals discover new passions and talents. These successes are a testament not only to the participants themselves, but also to the dedicated staff, families, volunteers, and community partners who have helped make Adult Day Services a welcoming and supportive environment.
One of the greatest strengths of Adult Day Services is its focus on community inclusion. Participants are encouraged to engage with the world around them, whether through volunteering, attending local events, visiting area attractions, or supporting local businesses. These experiences foster a sense of belonging and demonstrate the valuable contributions individuals with disabilities make to our communities every day.
As we celebrate this 10-year anniversary, we also look ahead with excitement. The future of Adult Day Services is filled with opportunities to continue growing, innovating, and creating meaningful experiences for the individuals we serve.
