Overview
Takes temperatures of individuals’ food, freezer, refrigerator, and record temperatures. Serves meals for individuals living at the Center and staff, and pack lunches for school and day programming. Labels and dates as food as required. Maintains a clean, orderly, and sanitary kitchen.
Requirements: High school graduate or GED preferred; ability to understand, read, write, and speak English; cooking experience in an institutional setting or restaurant setting preferred; ability to read recipes and prepare large quantities; knowledge of puree and special diets preferred.
Normal Working Hours and Schedule: As assigned.
