Respite Care Returns to Anne Grady Services
Nonprofit providing high quality services to children and adults with intellectual disabilities strives to meet vital needs in the community.

Summer 2025 marks the much-anticipated re-opening of respite care at Anne Grady Services. Noah’s House offered respite care but was put on pause during covid. The goal has been to relaunch for families in need. Respite care is an essential service that full-time caregivers for individuals with intellectual disabilities need.
Respite care provides temporary relief for caregivers, allowing them to take a break from their responsibilities while ensuring the person in their care receives needed support. It’s crucial for maintaining the well-being of both the caregiver and the person being cared for. It is unsustainable for caregivers to provide 24/7 care, 365 days a year, with no relief.
Just as respite care benefits the caregiver, it also benefits the individual receiving care. Participating in respite care opens doors to opportunities that would otherwise not be available to the individual. Leisure activities, educational programs, outings into the community, meeting new people, relationship building and high-quality medical care. Respite care improves the quality of life for all involved.
Anne Grady Services couldn’t be more excited to welcome families back in for respite care services!
