Manages all aspects of maintenance and upkeep of assigned facilities , ensuring all regulatory and operational needs are met timely and efficiently. Must be able to oversee and provide hands on support to the direct report team, the completion of projects such as leaking sinks, clogged toilets, flooring, painting, basic servicing and repairs of heating/cooling units, minor automotive repairs and maintenance, lighting, furniture, and minor structural repairs. Maintain workflow and records of all maintenance requests and associated expenses. Ensure snow removal and grounds maintenance is kept up on as needed. Ensure properties are safe of hazardous potentials for residents, staff, and visitors.
Requirements: Experience with facility maintenance; high school graduate or GED preferred; ability to understand, read, and write; ability to perform basic maintenance tasks; ability to perform basic plumbing skills; ability to perform basic servicing and repairs of heating/cooling units; ability to make minor automotive repairs and have general knowledge of auto maintenance; good driving record required; ability to perform basic carpentry skills; ability to repair small electrical appliances; ability to work independently and perform assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner; ability to work under adverse weather conditions; ability to push, pull, bend, sit, and stoop for extended periods of time; ability to problem solve; ability to lift 50 pounds; ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
