Looking for a meaningful job that builds real-world experience? Courageous Community Services is hiring a Job Coach to support children and adults with disabilities in our day program at Courageous Acres.
Our Job Coaches assist with arts and crafts, play modified inclusive sports, lead volunteering activities and outings, explore the grounds at Courageous Acres, and form real bonds with the individuals we serve. Courageous Connections is a non-traditional, person-focused adult day support program. We work in small groups of four to stay active, improve our skills, and make a difference every day. The program incorporates a variety of social, recreational, and volunteer opportunities while helping adults with intellectual disabilities gain skills with their employment and personal goals.
This is an entry-level, paid training role — ideal for college students or anyone interested in education, healthcare, social work, psychology, therapy, recreation or any other human services.
What You’ll Do
- Provide direct supervision and support in residential and day camp settings.
- Transport individuals to worksites, activities, and community locations, ensuring all required documentation is completed.
- Program runs from 9:00-2:00 Monday through Friday
- Staff take turns providing transportation of individuals to Courageous Acres in an accessible van and back home at the end of day

Requirements
- 18+ years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a background check
- No prior experience required
